We are the Wellington Longboard Association, we are longboarders just like you. We live around Wellington and use this community to help connect with other skaters. Bombing hills, jumping off stairs, and racing down carparks is just some of the joys we share and we would love to share these joys with you!

We go out skating nearly every day, rain or shine. Keeping progression at a constant rate to prove Wellington is a city for skaters. We like to think of the WLA as our own little boarding family, we want any one to come and enjoy the ride with us, we don't care if you have just started or have been boarding since the 70's we want you to come along and help spread the stoke!

We meet every Wednesday night at 9:30pm under Tsb Bank arena. We skate a lot! Stay in tune to our facebook page to find out where we'll be shredding today! We may be gnar, but we dont bite we will welcome anyone into our group. just bring along your board how ever old or new, show us what you know and we will show you what we know.
